Hosted by Robby Carden, the Sittin’ In series is known for its relaxed, collaborative energy and for bringing together some of the region’s most talented musicians. Robby’s soulful vocals and roots-driven style create the perfect setting for an afternoon of connection, storytelling, and unforgettable live music.

This special edition features Chad Nickell, whose sound is best described as “Appalachian Jam.” Drawing from Americana, folk, honky-tonk, and psychedelic roots, Chad Nickell & The Loose Change deliver dynamic, unscripted performances where no two shows are ever the same. Hailing from the mountains of Alleghany County, Virginia, Chad has spent nearly two decades crafting songs rooted in love, folklore, and life’s deeper questions.
