Ian Blackwood is a folk musician from Richmond, VA. He creates thoughtful and earnest original songs informed by traditional folk and country, 60s experimentalism, and modern songwriting craft. 

Ian also plays mandolin and fiddle in a variety of local groups including Woody Woodworth & The Piners, Dogwood Brothers, and Joshua Eadie & The Common Wealth, and is the leader of local psychedelia group Blackwood Station but brings a more intimate touch to his solo work with personal original tunes and thoughtfully chosen covers.
