Join us Thursday, April 6th, for the release of our 2023 Pinks Boot Collaboration Beer - Pinky Brewster Fruited Pale Ale! Come thirsty and bring your friends because for every pint sold, we will donate $1 to Pink Boots Society — Richmond, VA Chapter.

This beer is a dry-hopped fruited pale ale, but we wanted it to be different from anything we’ve ever brewed before. To do this we used Helio Gazer Thiolized yeast, which was specifically developed to unleash thiols—flavor and aroma compounds reminiscent of passion fruit and guava. In order to achieve this, we needed to ensure there were lots of thiol precursors in the wort, so we employed a technique called mash hopping (adding hops during the mash). The beer will have a heady tropical fruit aroma, not only from the yeast, but from this year’s Pink Boots Hop Blend, which features Loral, Ekuanot and HBC 586 hops. Finally, we used prickly pear in this beer to give is a vibrant magenta hue. Come try it and help support women in brewing!
