Join the James River Association and Starr Hill Brewery as we team up for a river cleanup in your area!

You may love the James because of the beautiful views, and the calming waters or because you can't wait to paddle, fish, or picnic along its shores. For all of us who live and work around its power and beauty, the James is the source of our water and critical to the health of our environment and economy. Now it is time to give back!

Volunteers should come dressed for the weather with a good pair of walking shoes and are encouraged to bring sunscreen, bug repellent, and a water bottle. Trash bags and grab sticks will be provided. Spaces are limited.

Register below for a clean-up near you, which will take place by the river. After the clean-up, volunteers will meet back at their local Starr Hill Brewery for an after-party to enjoy some well-earned beer - plus you'll receive a free "Love your River" t-shirt! Everyone is welcome in the taproom, but only registered adults 21 or older will receive a t-shirt.
