Camp out with your festie friends at Starr Hill and compete in ★LOCKN’ TRIVIA★ all about our favorite Central VA music fest. Answer questions about its past and present musicians and you could WIN 4-DAY LOCKN’ PASSES.
Skip’s Starr Hill career began in July 2010 on the top of the reefer truck at All Good Music Festival. He had been hired to palletize boxes on the bottling line, the foremost entry level position at the time. Since then, he’s done dozens of different jobs with Starr Hill Brewery.
He remembers the day Adam Duritz (the singer from Counting Crows) dropped by the brewery early one Friday morning while he was mopping the floor, and he has held onto almost every ticket stub from the 300 shows he’s been to — including his first — which was Incubus (he was in the 7th grade). Skip has also attended every year of LOCKN’ with Starr Hill Brewery.
Competitors may not bribe Skip, but it would be hard for him to turn down a lifetime supply of carne asada tacos with the verde sauce from La Michochana, OR an all expense paid trip to every National Park in the US, traveling in a gutted school bus filled with tents and all of his friends.
