PART-TIME BARTENDERS (Roanoke, VA)

Starr Hill Brewery is seeking part-time bartenders for weekday and weekend shifts. The ideal candidate should have significant customer service experience, enthusiasm for craft beer, as well as outstanding communication skills, and an engaging personality. The ability to multitask is a must.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Tend bar during regular business hours

• Serve customers beer in compliance with TIPS/RSVP training

• Execute beer and merchandise sales

• Prioritize customer service and satisfaction

• Complete all opening and closing procedures efficiently, ensuring ample supplies for bar operations

• Maintain utmost cleanliness of the bar area to maximize functionality and attractiveness

• ID-check DOB for all guests in a welcoming, friendly, and efficient manner

• Effectively communicate Tap Room procedures to visitors, including tastings, and beer/merchandise sales

Job Requirements

• Customer service experience preferred

• Self-motivated team player

• Willingness to learn and receive feedback

• Ability to multitask while remaining calm under pressure

• An enthusiasm for sincere and warm hospitality

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

• Must be able to lift 1/6-barrel kegs (60 lbs) and stand for an 8-hour shift

• Strong connection to the local market is preferred
